Booking
We suggest booking Racing sessions in advance on 01293 826800, or in person at the Racing Centre. Alternatively you can ‘arrive and drive’ subject to availability. All session times quoted represent the start time of the drivers briefing and all drivers need to check in at the Racing Centre reception a minimum of 20 minutes prior to the booked time.
The booking calendar is divided between the different sessions so that only certain types of session will be available to book at any one time slot.
Race Experience Session (£35 per person or £300 per exclusive group of 10)
2 x 15 minute sessions consisiting of Practice/Qualifying followed by Racing, plus pre and post race briefings, instructor tips and printed telemetry results. The total time in the Racing Centre is approximately 2 hours. Cost: £35 per person or £300 for an exclusive group session of 10 persons.
"Off Peak Special" Race Experience - Monday to Friday 14.00 to 17.00 (Just £25 per person)
The Race Experience as above, but at a special Monday to Fridays “Off Peak” Rate:
- Available on afternoon (14.00 to 17.00) Race Experience sessions only
- All “Off Peak” sessions are just £25 per driver (no other discounts available)
- Payment must be made in full at time of booking (non refundable)

Race Experience Plus (£450 per group of 10)
3 x 15 minute sessions consisiting of Test, Practice/Qualifying followed by Racing, plus pre and post race briefings, instructor tips and printed telemetry results. The total time in the Racing Centre is approximately 2 .5 hours. Cost: £450 for an exclusive group session of 10 persons.

Is the racing suitable for everybody?
PureTech Racing has been made as accessible as is practically possible but unfortunately there are some customers for whom the race experience in the simulators would be un-safe or not practical.
- The minimum height to use the simulators is 1.42m, customers shorter than this will be unable to safely use the steering wheel and reach the pedals at the same time.
- Users must be capable of lifting themselves into and out of the simulators using their arms. Access into the simulators is by standing in the seat and then stretching your legs out in front and lowering yourself into the seat using your arms. To exit the car you need sufficient upper body strength to lift yourself out of the seat until you can get you feet back to the seat and can stand up to exit the car.
- However PTR has one simulator that allows people without the use of their legs to be able to access the simulators and drive using accelerator and brake control levers on the steering wheel. Please contact us for more information on availability.
- The simulators generate high G force and therefore customers with weak necks, backs etc and pregnant women should seek advice before using the simulators.
- Customers with heart or blood pressure problems should not use the simulators if their condition will be affected by the effects of raised pulse rate and adrenalin rush.
- For anyone that may be sensitive to motion sickness, the motion system on the simulators can be turned off on request.
Conditions Please Note
- All drivers must use headphones or earphones in the simulators. If drivers have their own earphones or headphones they wish to use they will be able to use them.
- All drivers must wear soft soled shoes or race boots in the simulators
